Join us this October 25th during Pink October to raise Awareness and fight Breast Cancer in Rwanda. The ULINZI WALK raises awareness about Breast Cancer, and educates the public about its symptoms, risk factors, prevention, and the critical importance of early detection. The campaign also offered free screening services to breast cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such hypertension and diabetes.
Since 2017, the Ulinzi Annual Awareness Walk has been a national symbol of hope, strength, and unity in the fight against breast cancer. Organized by BCIEA, it pioneered public breast cancer awareness in Rwanda. This year marks our 6th official walk, as we continue to bring together survivors, families, health professionals, and community leaders to raise awareness, promote early detection, and support survivors.
5 Walks successfully completed since 2017
• 500+ annual participants from across the country
• 45,000+ women impacted through BCIEA programs
