Published by THE LANCENT Oncology on May 09, 2022

"Breast cancer killed my sister, who lived in Africa," says Philippa Kibugu-Decuir, the visionary behind Breast Cancer Initiative East Africa. Grief-stricken by her sister's late diagnosis and subsequent loss, she embarked on a mission to learn everything about this disease. Back in Texas, USA, where she worked as an educator, Philippa joined breast cancer support groups, determined to make a difference. Today, her unwavering courage drives a transformative movement in the fight against breast cancer.
